How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Youth Ministry
Our students 6th-12th grade are led by a dedicated team of couples. We have classes for our Junior High ladies, Junior High guys, High School ladies, and High School guys that meet every Sunday morning after a combined worship time. Wednesday nights feature games, snack foods, and a message from God’s Word brought by our Youth Pastor. Each month there are special events scheduled to bring the teens together and build relationships with God and each other.
Children’s Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.
Young Adults
While life as a young adult can be challenging, there is no reason to face it alone. Through the relationships forged in our college and career-aged young adults, there are plenty of friends to join you along the journey. While it all begins in our Sunday School classes, life together spills over into so much more than that.
Women’s Ministry
At various times in the year, our women’s ministry hosts morning and evening Bible Studies, which give ladies an opportunity to connect one on one as they dig deeper in God’s Word. Other events happen throughout the year, like our Ladies Retreat and Christmas fellowship.
Men’s Ministries
Our men join together each Sunday morning before church for a time of prayer. We also host a men’s prayer breakfast several times a year, and an annual Men’s Retreat in the spring. Just as Proverbs 27:17 states, our relationships with each other are an opportunity to sharpen each other and to grow closer to the Lord.
Married Couples
Our Sunday School department offers a variety of options for married couples, and is the primary place to begin connecting with others in the church. Not only will you grow together through the Study of God’s Word, but these classes allow the opportunity to share in each other’s lives and become involved through class activities and shared prayer needs.
Senior Adults
Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun! With several Sunday School classes targeted at those who are retirement age and greater, there are many opportunities for you to find your place here at Rodgers. Our “Rodgers Rovers” ministry hosts monthly events for fellowship and service, and, as its name implies, often involves an outing somewhere.
